Winner of Special Award from 25th GOOD PAINTING COLOR

Nippon Paint Color Group won a Special Award in the "renovation category" and "interior category" of the environmental color competition, so called Good Painting Color (GPC) sponsored by the Japan Paint Manufacturers Association, the Japan Paint Commerce Association, and the Japan Painting Contractors Association.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone involved for their great cooperation.

The judges gave us high marks for our efforts to harmonize with the surrounding environment and corporate identity. We are happy to introduce the Photos and comments as follows.

Award recipient: Maki Ikeda

Judge comment: Improvement in the occupancy rate is a priority condition for renovations, so there is a tendency to overemphasize design. Even under those conditions, it is a work that is conscious of harmony with the surrounding environment. Such efforts are expected to raise the level of landscape improvement for the entire area.

Award recipient: Junko Sato

Judge comment: Depending on the use of the area, the "entrance" is accented with a luxurious and gorgeous tapestry-like image, and the "meeting room" is treated as a partial wall with a cold-colored rope shading. It is finished with a delicate sensibility while making use of the functions of the selected paint with matching the purpose of each area inside the office. In particular, the tapestry-like paint finish is novel as a focal point, and gives us a sense of the future possibilities of special finishing materials with texture.
